Mom’s Beef Stroganoff — Revised

    Ingredietns
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 8oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 TBS worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 can low-fat cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup low-fat sour cream
  • 1 tsp parsley

Instructions:

  1. Crumple and brown ground beef in skillet.
  2. Drain fat after beef is browned.
  3. Add onions, mushrooms, and celery to beef in skillet. Saute until onions and celery are slightly transparent.
  4. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and worcestershire sauce to beef mixture.
  5. Add mushroom soup, sour cream, and parsley. Stir well and cook until heated through.

Serving Suggestion
Serve over rice or egg noodles.

    Mom’s Stroganoff
    I often add Sherry and Tony Chachere’s.
    Also I have always added parsley just efore serving
