Ingredients:
- 1 box of Devil’s Food Cake mix plus ingredients to make cake
- 1 small bag of milk chocolate morsels
- 12 oz caramel ice cream topping, divided and warmed
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 9″x13″ baking pan with cooking oil.
- Mix cake per instructions on box.
- Pour half of batter into baking pan.
- Bake 15 - 20 minutes, until cake has started to set.
- Sprinkle chocolate morsels, 1/2 the caramel, and pecans over partially baked cake. Pour remainder of batter over partially cooked cake, morsels, caramel, and pecans.
- Bake 30 - 35 minutes or until cake tester is cleanly inserted and cake is baked through.
- Drizzle remaining caramel over top.
Cook’s Suggestion
For a fancier presentation, bake this in a fluted pan and flip onto a platter before drizzling the carmel over the top.
