- Ingredients
- 16 oz spaghetti/marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 1 lb ziti pasta
- 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 cup chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 cup mozarella cheese, lowfat, shredded
Instructions:
- Preheat the broiler.
- In a large bowl, mix spaghetti sauce and ricotta thoroughly, until smooth.
- Cook the ziti according to the package directions. Drain.
- Place sauce, ziti, spinach, and mushrooms in a 9″x13″-in. baking pan. Mix well and spread evenly. Sprinkle with the cheese.
- Broil until cheese is melted, approximately 5 minutes.
Cooking Suggestions
Substitute or add any vegetables you like into the mix.
For a chunkier sauce, add diced tomatoes.

I love this recipe, have made it many times but misplaced it so I thank you for having it on line.
